Staying Creative…
Writing full-time is such an introverted occupation and sometimes staying productive can be daunting. That’s how my merch shop was born. In between reading, writing and editing, I didn’t want my inspired moments to be like dust in the wind.
As of March 2023, I now have launched a Patterns Shop Powered by Etsy.

Ami Van, the Founder
Author and avid reader. I’m also a mom to 2-legged children and a couple four-legged ones too. I have a couple degrees in tech but I found my passion writing after decades of reading romance, mystery, and suspense. I’ve also recently added “wife” to my long list of titles and have found that I love that more than writing!
Jas & Mar, the Inspirations
Behind every great brand is a team of makers and doers. These two gals play a huge role in the inspiring, making and doing because learning never stops especially when one is a teenager and the other one believes she is a teenager. The shop stays creative thanks to these two.
Grimmothy, the Muse/Ruler/Quality Control Mgr
Grimm was our neighborhood cat that finally decided he’d adopt us after a few years of giving us a trial run. He really is the ruler of my workspace but he gets a pass on his “Thug Life” behavior because he’s so good with Mar. They are nearly inseparable. Many shop customers tell us that his paw of approval on their orders make it that much more exciting to receive in the mail! You may have seen him make appearances on Instagram and TikTok so he’s here for SEO purposes. :)
